New team takes over at the Rotaract Club of Bangalore
The Rotaract Club of Bangalore Installation Ceremony kicked off at 5 pm at the Rotary House of Friendship with excitement running high among the new team members, especially President Rtr.Kunal Singh.
The program began to the sweet notes of Rtr. Johnathan and Rtr. Shefalika, the hosts for the ceremony, who rendered the welcome note. Following this the dignitaries: our Parent Rotary Club of Bangalore President Rtn. Vivek Prabhu, District Youth Service Director - Rtn. Rajesh Hiremath, District Rotaract Committee Chairman - Rtn. Ravi Shankar GRS, Rotary Club of Bangalore Youth Services Director Rtn.Vijay Rao, District Rotaract Representative Rtr. Kiran Raj N, our chief Guest for the evening Mr.Sankalp Mohan Sharma along with Outgoing and Incoming Presidents Rtr. Smrithi Mannar and Rtr. Kunal Singh lit the lamp to mark the beginning of the glorious journey of the new team.
Outgoing President Rtr. Smrithi Mannar delivered the welcome address where she also thanked her team for the wonderful year and expressed her best wishes to the incoming Board. Rtr. Smrithi Mannar also presented the list of projects that was done during the year 2017-18.
Rtr. Kunal Singh was installed as the President of Rotaract Club of Bangalore for the year 2018-19 by Rtn.Vivek Prabhu. Rtr. Kunal then delivered the acceptance speech and introduced his Board of Directors who were installed by the Dignitaries. All the new members were inducted by District Rotaract Representative Rtr. Kiran Raj N.

Our Chief Guest for the day was the young and dynamic personality Sankalp Mohan Sharma who represented India at the United Nations Youth Assembly. He ranked first from over 100,000 competitors for The Global Young Voices, and also spoke at the United Nations Headquarters In New York.Sankalp who has bagged many awards gave an inspiring speech focusing on "not just Feel Good but also Do Good". It was great to have him at our Installation Ceremony as the Chief Guest.
After the customary group photographs the ceremony came to an end. The 1st Meeting was adjourned and the members broke for fun and fellowship.
