Two more Happy Anganwadis inaugurated.
21st December, 2018 saw the inauguration of two more Happy Anganwadis.
It is the owing to the benevolence of two active Rotarians that the little children of Akkethimannahalli and Austin Town Anganwadis will now enjoy a much better and upgraded facility, with new flooring, neat and clean kitchen, child friendly bright walls, clean drinking water, toilet and play equipment.
Attended by Community Service Education Committee Chair Rtn. M. C. Dinesh, Secretary Musten Jiruwala and Rtn. Nitin Shah the Akkethimanahalli Anganwadi was the first one to be inaugurated on this day in the presence of the donor Rtn. Omana Mathews, who was visibly satisfied with way the Anganwadi had been transformed in a short period of a few weeks. Neatly dressed cheerful kids posed happily for photographs with a proud Omana.
The next Happy Anganwadi to be inaugurated by the team was the one sponsored by Sapna Book House, which was of course represented by Rtn. Nitin Shah and Ann Shilpa. The happiness on the faces of the children and their parents was there to see and experience, and so was the satisfaction of the staff. It was touching to see the gratitude of the community which profits from the improved facilities - the gratitude to Rotary Club for the initiative and to the sponsors for their large hearted generosity.
Congratulations to Rotarians Omana Mathews and Nitin Shah, and to the Anganwadi Team led and driven by Rtn. Manjunath for the fine execution of the projects.
With these two the number of Anganwadis transformed this year by RCB adds up to seven. The next two are slated to be inaugurated on December 28th.
